Nice outcome with this Dual 505 turntable, repairs, and little restoration.

There are lots of repairs waiting action in the workshop. Realistically, any item coming in after today (22nd of November) may not make the bench until the new year unless it’s something really silly like “have you plugged it in” Dave & Geoff are getting on well with the list though.

Marshall JTM30 repair and rebuild, I gave up on washing it and ended up with a re-cover.

The workshop will be closed from Monday the 14th of October and back open Monday the 21st of October.

Getting dirty with this SONY unit, that black mess was the capstan belt. It’s what happens with all this era gear. The belts go back to nature. Bit of a mess.

Busy times again in the workshop, I currently have 46 jobs on this list, 13 waiting spares, 🥵.. bit of a waiting time, sadly, guys.

Geoff and I are working through the jobs, but it’s not something we can rush. Thank you all for your patience.

Dave will be away from the workshop for a day on Friday the 6th of September and the 17th to the 23rd of September. Then it’s back to normal.

Busy days here again in the workshop. It’s gone back to around a 3 week wait again for answers on repairs. We do try and push the pro gear up the list a bit.
